Who is Mark Gallegos?

“Embarrassment is not against the LAW.”

That is part of Dead Presidents LLC’s public message. If the company uses public embarrassment to demand accountability from others, its own leadership should be open to scrutiny.

Business listings based on California filings identify Mark Gallegos as the company’s manager and CEO. A TruthFinder report supplied as relating to Gallegos, under the name Marcos Antonio Gallegos, contains the following entries:

• A California sex offender registry entry, marked “Registered,” describing “Lewd Or Lascivious Acts With Child 14 Or 15 Years Old,” under Penal Code section 288(c)(1).
• Four possible California state tax liens totaling $37,550.35, dated May 2012, September 2014, April 2022, and October 2022.

These details appear on pages 11–15 of the report. The report warns that matches may be inaccurate or incomplete. The identity match and current registration status have not been independently verified, and the listed amounts should not be represented as a current unpaid tax balance.

Invoking the First Amendment should never serve as a justification for threats or extortion—whether by Dead Presidents LLC or anyone hiring it. That principle applies to everyone; it is not a finding that a crime occurred in any particular dispute.

The public deserves accurate information about both the people being accused and the people making accusations. Mr. Gallegos is invited to address these entries and provide any correcting or clarifying records.

Accountability should apply equally to those who demand it from others.
